Repairs carried out using NAPA parts are covered by AutoCare’s 12-month nationwide warranty, honoured at any AutoCare garage in the UK. Other repairs come with our own 12-month / 12,000-mile parts and labour warranty, honoured at our Royston and Swindon workshops.

Can you collect my vehicle?
Yes. Bringing the car to the centre is easiest. If you can’t, collection and delivery is free within 5 miles of the centre, with a quoted fee beyond that, subject to our terms and conditions.
Will you do extra work without asking?
No. If any additional or advised work is required, we’ll always call you first. We will not undertake work without your authorisation.

Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. Saturday and Sunday: open by pre-arranged booking only (no walk-ins).
Will servicing with you affect my car’s manufacturer warranty?
No. If your car is under 3 years old, you don’t have to go to the dealer for servicing. Both our centres are AutoCare member garages and we use original equipment or matching-quality parts, so your manufacturer warranty stays valid.
Recent work from our workshop
Hyundai i10 Classic: front subframe replacement in Royston after an MOT failure for corrosion. The subframe carries the front suspension and steering mounts, so corrosion there weakens the car and is an MOT failure. At our Royston workshop we removed the corroded subframe and fitted a new front subframe.
Drive shaft: outer CV joint replacement at our Royston workshop. Common signs of a worn or damaged outer CV joint include a clicking or knocking noise when turning, especially on full lock, and vibration when pulling away. We found the outer CV joint damaged and replaced it.
Vauxhall Corsa: coolant leak diagnosis at our Royston workshop. Common signs of a coolant leak include a falling coolant level, a sweet smell, pink or crusty residue on the engine and, if it is left, overheating. We traced where the coolant was leaking from.
Brake check: brake pad thickness check at our Royston workshop. Common signs of worn pads include squealing or grinding, longer stopping distances or a pad warning light. We measured the pad thickness with a pad gauge.
Brake checks: brake pad wear measured with colour-coded gauges at our Royston workshop, green for 10mm and yellow for 5mm. Measuring the pads shows how much wear is left, so worn pads can be replaced before braking suffers or the discs are damaged.
Ford Fiesta: leaking core plugs found at our Royston workshop. Core plugs seal casting holes in the engine block, and as they corrode they can weep coolant. Common signs include a dropping coolant level, coolant marks or rust around the block and, if ignored, overheating. The photos show a core plug weeping coolant and heavy rust on the plugs.
Engine rebuilds: engine rebuild and head gasket work at our Royston workshop. The photos show a cylinder head face with the valves numbered, old pistons covered in carbon, the block with the pistons fitted, and the rebuilt engine with its cylinder head and camshaft in place.
